OUR STORY
Rooted in Jadeite, Guided by Trust
Joy & Grace Jewelry comes from a family that has lived with jadeite for generations — and from a simple belief: every stone deserves to be true, to be beautiful, and to be honest, all the way to your hands.
From the jadeite mines of Myanmar to the workshops of Yunnan, China, our family has devoted itself to jade for generations. What began as a calling has become a quiet promise we make with every stone we offer: it will be true, it will be beautiful, and it will be honest — from the day it leaves the earth to the day you hold it in your hands.
From Myanmar Mines to Yunnan Workshops
Our rough stones are sourced from the jadeite mines of Myanmar and carried to Yunnan, China — home to Ruili and Tengchong, two towns that have judged jade for generations. There, seasoned hands examine every block for colour, water, and hidden flaws, weigh what fine material it may hold, and only then decide how it will be cut. Designing, carving, and polishing are finished in the same Yunnan workshops.
- Picked by hand. No stone is bought sight unseen; each one is held, lit, and examined piece by piece.
- Designed around the material. A piece is carved only after its natural character is understood — we let the jadeite lead, never force it.
- Polished with patience. The soft glow of jadeite is not applied but drawn out, by craftspeople whose hands have learned their touch over many years.
Authenticity You Can Verify
In the trade, Type-A means natural jadeite — never acid-washed, filled with resin, or dyed. We sell only natural Type-A jadeite: every finished piece is hand-selected and ships with a certificate issued by an accredited laboratory, while rough stones and slabs are photographed and described exactly as they are, so what you see is what arrives.
Our Promises to You
Every piece of jadeite deserves to be handled with honesty and care — from the day it leaves the mine to the day it is passed on to the next generation.
